Our improvement strategies will never be static, it is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our students and how their medical/mental health condition affects their engagement with learning. Our success in meeting the needs of the children and young people we teach will always be due to the flexibility, creativity and innovation that we apply to adapting our provision to enable our students to engage with learning.
Our improvement strategy recognises that our academies operate in local health and education systems that have their own unique challenges. All of our school improvement activities are focused on each individual academy’s development needs and heads are empowered to work with colleagues within or outside the trust who are best placed to provide the knowledge and expertise needed to facilitate improvement.
Headteachers and the CEO meet regularly to review development plans, adapting and altering these to respond to new challenges.
