Our vision is to create a trust of exceptional academies for children and young people with medical needs, where each is unique and distinctive but shares the same values and ethos.
The Skylark Partnership Trust seeks to uphold the values and virtues of ethical education by ‘doing the right thing’ through honesty, integrity and transparency. We are guided by the ethical leadership framework in everything we do.
The governance of our Trust seeks to meet the vision outlined above through supporting our academies to deliver on our core purpose and to shape our educational offer for all of the pupils in the trust as we develop.
As we grow, we will seize the exciting opportunities presented to develop our systems and processes, fully supporting our academies’ curricula, ensuring they meet the needs of the pupils, parents/carers, other stakeholders, local authority commissioners and the local communities they serve.
Our scheme of delegation enables headteachers and local advisory boards to continue to deliver and develop the day to day education in their academies, and to add their voice to the strategic development of the Trust. Our local boards hold our headteachers to account for the quality of local provision and local strategic development.
Local boards are supported by our governance professional who liaises with the clerks to the local boards ensuring compliance and maintaining regular communication and updates so that all governance is working together to meet our vision for the children and young people we support.
